Over the years my work has expressed ecological concerns. ‘Please keep off the Grass’ was a series of large sculptural installations shown at the Commonwealth Art Gallery in the early 1970’s. More recently ‘Icecaps’ have been reminders of the issue of global warming and its effect on life on Earth. As well as the reference to volcanic activity, my Lava series with its searingly hot colours, also refers to global warming and climate change.
