INDIA TOMATO VASE

Named after the designer's memory of a trip to India. A unique and splendid object of decor, this vase is named after the designer's memory of a trip to India, a country brimming with vibrant technology and start-up sectors. Made of 30% Sicilian tomato peel waste from agriculture, the vase holds together 70%  of PLA (polycystic acid derived from renewable resources like maize, compostable in industrial facilities).

Using the 3D printing technique, the agricultural waste determines the color and touch of the vase. Due to the high percentage of natural material, the vase is not water-resistant and may be used only for dried flowers.

Each piece is slowly worked with machinery and hands, silently negotiating two contradictory elements. He uses fast, repeatable and rigorous technology for bold yet ethereal statements.
