This “Dino” Terre sigillata teapot has been turned, it is made of fine white clay and is very soft.
After firming, each part was carefully polished with agate.
This teapot is very functional, its low weight makes it a handy and useful object. Its finely engraved zoomorphic beak reminded me of a small dinosaur, hence its name. It has a fine groove in the center which allows it to flow perfectly without dripping. Its softness delights the hand. its lid engraved with mantras gives it a precious appearance.
