For some years Peter commuted by train through Kent to his studio near London Bridge. Occasionally travelling through dazzling snowy winter landscapes he was inspired to revisit an earlier series titled Glacier. He developed a new graphic version in stark black and white before introducing various coloured interiors. In this series he has achieved gorgeous textured effects over translucent icy blues which, when etched, take on a silky surface quality that demands to be handled.
